Tsawwassen
Signed in December 2007, the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement sets out the rights of the Nation and clarifies the ownership of the land for the community. While the parcel of land remained the same, the agreement did change to allow the Tsawwassen Government to make and regulate laws. The Nation was paid the market value of the expropriated lands, replacement value to improve the lands, expenses and losses from the disturbance of expropriation, and the value of any positive economic activity on the Tsawwassen land.
